Akshay Kumar is a dashing and handsome hunk of the Bollywood film industry. He was born in Amritsar, India on 7th September 1967. His real name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia. Before emerging as an actor he learned martial arts and was employed as a chef in Hong Kong. He married famed actress Twinkle Khanna and the couple was blessed with a son named Aarav and a daughter Nitara Kumar. Akshay Kumar’s comic appearance in the movie Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi wasn't so admired. Though eventually he established his flair and validated that he could appear in romantic pictures, action pictures, or indeed comedy pictures with an equal position of ease. In 2000, the film Hera Pheri was released and became a megahit. Akshay subsequently became a leading choice for film directors in comedy pictures like Phir Hera Pheri, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Awara Paagal Deewana, and Garam Masala.
His histrionic roles in pictures like Waqt's The Race Against Time, Bewafaa, and Ek Rishta were commended by the audience. His release “ Namastey London ” did tremendously well at the Indian box office.
