Amber Laura Heard is an American actress who was born on April 22, 1986, in Austin. As an actress, Amber Heard has appeared in several movies like "Aquaman", "Never Back Down", "The Rum Diary" and "Drive Angry." Heard has also appeared in various television series and is known for her involvement in activism, especially regarding LGBTQ rights.

Heard grew up riding horses, fishing, and hunting. Even though she attended Catholic high school and entered beauty pageants, she later became disappointed with religion and the lifestyle that surrounded her. As a result, she dropped out of school at age of 17 and moved to New York City. Even though she initially found work as a model in New York, she shifted her interest to acting and later moved to Los Angeles.

Amber started her acting career by first appearing in music videos, but later joined TV shows including “Jack & Bobby” and “The O.C.”  In 2004, she appeared in her first film role in “Friday Night Lights” and more movie and TV roles followed, but she didn’t have any other hit film until she starred in “Pineapple Express” in 2008. In the same year, she also starred in the movie “Never Back Down”.
